FallsFest, Texoma’s premier outdoor festival, is pleased to announce that Stoney LaRue & the Arsenals will be taking the main stage Saturday night, September 27.

Stoney LaRue & theArsenals will be preceded by an AC/DC tribute band called Back in Black, followed by Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights on the main stage.

Stoney LaRue is a singer/songwriter and reigning Male Vocalist of the Year for the Texas Regional Radio Awards. LaRue is no stranger to the spotlight as his 2011 self-released Velvet debuted at #3 on the iTunes chart, as well as top 15 on the overall Billboard Country Music Chart. LaRue has sold more than 400 thousand albums and tracks and has a large social media following. Stoney has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Gary Allen, Dierks Bentley and others over his continually rising career. LaRue will make his eOne debut Aviators, due October 28.

Born in Taft, Texas, LaRue actually spent the majority of his adolescence north of the Red River, where he was raised in Southeastern Oklahoma. He never really pictured himself doing anything else but making good music, so LaRue eventually made his way to the state’s Red Dirt hotbed of Stillwater, where he began to develop his individualized style from a widespread range of influences.

LaRue is a husband and father, and known for his red bandana. His latest album Velvet marks a new kind of cohesion for a man who’s built a career on live performances. Working with award winning producer, Frank Liddell and Mike McCarthy; Velvet was recorded over 3 years in Nashville, and finds LaRue melting down the playbook and expectations for everyone involved. Lidell enlisted Glenn Worf on bass, Randy Scruggs on acoustic, Glenn Duncan on fiddle, Chad Cromwell and Fred Eltringham on drums, Oran Thornton on guitar, Jim Hoke on accordion, steel & flute.

Come out to Lucy Park in Wichita Falls, TX on Saturday September 27, 2014 and sing along to hits like “Oklahoma Breakdown” and “Feet Don’t Touch the Ground.”
